Onehunga Woollen Mills, 1886

This protected building is largely brick but the three large wooden louvres on the fronts of the building were rotted and damaged and needed rebuilding and replacing in parts, also the huge barge boards at the front had decorative elements that were missing and had to be recreated.  Three giant mast-like finials were constructed and fitted to the fronts of the buildings.
