This heritage building was closed for earthquake strengthening, the shelves dating from the 1920’s and 1950’s needed sympathetic restoration to preserve as much of the original material as possible while retaining the original finish were possible.  Once again I used shellac to refinish the shelves then waxed them prior to reinstalling them.
