A+O asked me to come up with a design for their auction podium. 

 

I’d always been intrigued by a product called Bendi-ply and its possibilities so came up with a design utilising its bendability. Gluing two pieces together makes it rigid, I wrapped it around a lovely 18thC chest on stand I happened to have in the workshop and carried out the rest of the curved theme, I finished it with clear shellac for an anonymous subtle finish.
